When you come to the winery you will meet the vintner and hear his family’s story. The wine, taking its name after the city of Memel, is made according to an old recipe bequeathed by our ancestors. This recipe is said to have been passed down from generation to generation and its origin goes back as far as the times of Crusaders. The long-year craftsmanship and a passion for viticulture has allowed us to create a unique wine renowned for its excellent flavour and aroma. The vintner has been awarded a national heritage product certificate.

During the tour you will be given an exceptional opportunity to look around the winery and get a closer knowledge of the wine making process.

Wine tasting includes all the varieties of the wine produced locally and their pairing with homemade ripened cheese. You may taste and choose your favourite ones. After tasting you will be able to purchase your favourite wines and souvenirs.

The wine tasting also included wine stories and discussions on the national wine-making.

The tastings last from 1 to 3 hours. We receive up to 50 visitors at a time. Wine tastings are offered in Lithuanian and English.
